Triage:Build

Triage, extended with your team.
Built with your teamIn your environmentYours to keep

Extend Triage for your needs, and learn how.

We extend Triage for the way your team works: connections to your own tools in Connect, courses and milestones in Learn, and a knowledge base built from your documents. Your people build alongside us, so when we leave, they can extend it themselves.

Start small: one extension, one team, a six-week pilot at a fixed €18,000 + VAT. The scope is agreed before we start.

For teams that use Triage and want it to fit how they work. Completely custom work goes through H2 Labs, at h2.io.

Build / Why it is hard inside a company

Using AI is easy.
Then come three questions.

Most large organisations already use AI indirectly, through vendors, pilots, and features in the tools they buy. Building their own is where they stall, and rarely because of the technology.

IT SECURITY THE BUSINESS AI TOOL ? ? ?
  1. Who owns it

An internal AI tool sits between IT, security, and the business. Without an owner, it stays a demo.

  2. What it may touch

Which data, which model, where it runs, who reviews what it does. The questions that stop a project are about boundaries.

  3. Who keeps it working

A prototype takes a weekend. Keeping a tool correct, secure, and useful for years is the part that needs a plan.

Room to try an idea before it has to be defended.

Inside a large company, every new idea meets regulation, procedures, and approvals. They exist for good reasons, and they make an idea expensive to try, so it has to be defensible before anyone starts, and many good ones never get tried.

We have spent our careers founding companies, used to acting on a hunch and finding out quickly. We have also worked inside multinationals and in strictly regulated sectors, so we know what compliance asks of a new tool. In a pilot we try several approaches on our side, away from your systems and data. Then, with your team, we find how the one that works can be built and stay compliant, and it goes through your procedures like anything else you run.

Built with what is current, inside your rules.

A team inside a large company can usually build only with the tools and models already approved. Approval takes months, and this field changes from one month to the next, so a tool built on last year’s models starts out behind.

On our side we explore with current models and tools, on our own accounts, choose what does the job at the lowest cost, and measure that cost. What reaches your environment uses models your rules allow; when a newer one is worth it, we test it on your task, so you can approve it with evidence.

Build / How a pilot works

From one problem
to a tool in production.

A pilot is sized in weeks. It ends with something running in production and people who know how it was built.

  1. Step 1

    Pick

A real, recurring problem, small enough to ship. We agree what success looks like, and measure it before we start, so the result is a number.

  2. Step 2

    Build together

In your environment, with your people pairing with ours. Your data stays where it is. Every change is reviewed by a person, and your security team sees every change before it ships.

  3. Step 3

    Hand over

Code, tests, documentation, and a runbook, all yours. The people who built it with us can change it and build the next one. If you want, Triage:Learn records what they can now do.

Build / The kind of work

Small tools that
remove real work.

The best first project is unglamorous: something people do every week, by hand, that Triage can take over or speed up once it knows your tools.

Connect

  • Triage of alerts, tickets, or requests, with a person approving every action.
  • Connections to the tools your team already uses, with rules you can read and change.

Knowledge base

  • An assistant over your own documents and runbooks, running where your data already is.
  • Onboarding that answers from your own systems and documents.

Learn

  • Courses built from your own documents and runbooks, with milestones that record what your people can do.
  • Teaching your team to extend Triage, so the next extension is theirs to build.

Kinds of work we do.

We have built and run applications in production inside large organisations, in cybersecurity and in operations; we do not name clients.

Custom work at H2 Labs.

Completely custom systems, security infrastructure, and experiments of every kind we take on through H2 Labs, at h2.io. Triage:Build is the work that extends Triage.

Build / Trust

Can you trust a small team
with AI-built software?

A fair question, when anyone can generate code in an afternoon. Here is what you can check.

  1. 01

Built by people who have done it.

A collaboration of long-time, trusted practitioners, with other small teams we bring in when a job needs a wider range of expertise. We have shipped and run software in production for demanding environments for decades.

  2. 02

How safe is what the AI writes?

As safe as the review behind it. Software drafts; people read, test, and decide. Every change is reviewed, tested, and logged, and your security team sees it before it ships.

  3. 03

    What happens in two years?

It keeps running without us. The code, the documentation, and the skills are yours; it runs where you choose, with your keys, and another team can maintain it. Our access is whatever you allow, and you can withdraw it.

Build / Triage:Build · Which task would you hand to a tool

Which task would you
hand to a tool?

Tell us about a problem your team solves by hand every week. We will tell you honestly whether extending Triage can take it over and what a pilot would look like, or whether it is custom work for H2 Labs.

This is only an enquiry. Please leave out confidential company or client information.
